The Dallas Park and Recreation Department has the perfect location for your venue needs. Parks, picnic shelters, athletic facilities and buildings are available for parties, family reunions, corporate meetings, competitions, weddings and events of all sizes. With so many unique indoor and outdoor facilities to choose from, you are sure to find just the right place for your next special occasion
Athletic-Field-Reservations:
The Dallas Park and Recreation Department has 287 athletic fields that include, softball, baseball, lacrosse, soccer, football, and rugby. Visit our Athletics Field page to view a list of all fields or search our Facilities List to search by field type. Reservations are required for both games and practices. In order to make a reservation, users must set up an account with the Athletic and Reservation office. This may be done over the phone or in person during regular business hours. You may also complete the account set-up form and fax or email it to the reservation office. Please refer to the Athletic Field Reservation Policies and Procedures for specific requirements.
Outdoor Weddings:
The Dallas Park and Recreation has numerous scenic park locations that are perfect for an outdoor wedding. If you are engaged and thinking of having your wedding outdoors, look no further. We can provide a beautiful setting for both you and your guests, for a memorable experience. Picnic Reservations:
Nothing beats the great outdoors! The Park and Recreation Department offers 45 pavilions available for rent throughout the city for picnics or family gatherings. Some locations have amenities to include an outdoor basketball court, a playground, grills, tables, and other items to enjoy your outdoor experience. Electrical outlets are not available with the exception of Flag Pole Hill Pavilion and Bachman Lake Park Pavilion. Picnic Call for pricing.
Recreation Centers:
Recreation Centers are available for rent when they are closed to the public and are the perfect location for your next birthday party, family reunion, wedding or wedding reception, or almost any event you can think of. To make an after hours recreation center reservation, contact the Reservation Office at 214-670-8740 or stop by during business hours. Call for pricing.
Runs/Walks and Special Events:
Runs/walks with an estimated attendance of 75 or more will be required to fill out a special event application at least 10 days prior to the event date.
A special event site meeting will be required for all runs/walks that will include the event coordinator and the Reservation Office Manager.
Deposit is due ten days after the contract is generated. Remaining balance is due ten days prior to the reservation.
