Turtle Creek Spring Arts Festival

Saturday April 13th 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Sunday April 14th 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
The festival will showcase approximately 100 local and regional artists and crafters of all disciplines at the historic park that is next door to the Katy Trail.
Festival-goers will also have the opportunity to view artist demonstrations, enjoy local food trucks, live acoustic music, hands-on art activities, a children’s area and much more. Free to attend, the festival is open to all ages and dogs are welcome.
This event will feature photographers, sculptors, leather and metalwork, glass blowers, jewelers, and crafters! The Festival will also offer artist demonstrations, live acoustic music, a children’s play area, plus festival foods and beverages with healthy alternatives.
Dallas Dog Life
Dallas Dog Life is a local website that featured events that benefit dogs. it’s all about dogs and informing the public about dog events in the Metroplex. According to their website, they usually have several events each month.
According to their website, their goals are:
- Promote the socialization of dogs by informing pet parents about dog-friendly events and establishments.
- Research and provide feedback on local dog businesses.
- Help educate the Dallas community about responsible dog care
- Contribute to animal welfare organizations that care for unwanted dogs
Some of their events are just for humans, but other events are for humans and dogs. Like a dog party!
2019 Main Street Fort Worth Arts Festival
This is Texas largest free music & arts festival
April 11th – 14th This is a free event.

Family Painting at the Palace

April Is Dallas Arts Month
There is so much going on in April it will be hard to see it all. I recommend choosing a few outdoor festivals and taking the family. many of these events are free, but of course you should take money for food, and maybe event to buy some art.
