Deep Ellum Art & Music Festival

April 5th – April 7th 2019 Official Website:

This is a FREE event, open to them public.

Days/Times:

  • Friday, April 5th, 11:00 am – 11:00 pm
  • Saturday, April 6th, 11:00 am – 11:00 pm
  • Sunday April 7th, 11:00 am – 8:00 pm

Described as Deep Ellum’s biggest party of the year, this festival features more than 200 visual artist, 100 bands and songwriters on six stages and two performance areas. This festival is celebrating their 25th year.

This festival is primarily for adults. You may bring your children, however there will not be activities specifically for them.

Expect parking to very challenging. I would recommend taking the DART train or bus, or maybe get a taxi, or Uber. The street is going to be barricaded, so if you do drive, you will have some walking to do.

Riding DART is easy! Take the DART Rail Green Line to the Baylor University Medical Center station which is the closest stop to the center of the festival at Hall and Main Streets, just 2 blocks from the station.

Even though this is a free event, don’t forget your wallet, because there will be food vendors, or you might want to buy some art to jazz up your home.

Homegrown Music & Arts Festival 2019

Saturday, April 13th 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM

This festival is all about local musicians and artist. This year is the 10th year anniversary, featuring 10 acts with ties to the state of Texas. Many different types of genres will be performing on two stages.

Location: Main Street Garden Park at 1900 Main Street in Downtown Dallas.

This is on the northside of downtown on St. Paul. Parking is available one block away for a fee, we’ll valet your bike for free, or you can take the DART to St. Paul Station and walk 4 blocks south towards Main St. on St. Paul.

Cost: Tickets are $54 for General Admission and $99 for VIP. Limited VIP packages are available and will sell out. Advance tickets purchased online are cheaper than tickets at the gate. Kids 10 and under are free!

Dallas International Film Festival 2019

Dallas Film exists to make the art of film accessible to the Dallas community through year-round screenings, education, training, and operating the largest film festival in North Texas – Dallas International Film Festival, powered by Capital One. They’re a nonprofit organization established in 2006 by people who love the magic of film. Since its inception, Dallas Film has contributed more than $1M in filmmaker awards, brought over 2000 filmmakers to Dallas, screened over 2000 films from more than 50 countries. We are proud to support local filmmakers, as well as fellow film organizations in DFW.

Fort Worth Food & Wine Festival

This is a four day event that allows you to taste samples on just about everything that is available in Fort Worth. This is the 6th year for this festival. Most of the events will be located in the heart of southwest Fort Worth, within the Clearfork development:
